Kidney Stone


Ugh I had to pass another kidney stone last monday. I hate kidney stones!

The good thing about this time, was that it wasn't really that bad. I only hurt for about an hour and then it passed. Thats gotta be a record or something. I've never had one pass that fast. And it wasn't a smooth one either. It was the most jagged one I've had yet. But its gone now and I shouldn't have anymore in me for a long time. Hopefully never again.

I was also elated that I wasn't sick and throwing up this time from the pain or medicine. That for me is the worse part. As bad as the pain is, I hate throwing up even more. So I was really happy about that.

My grandma also went to the hospital two days before I did. We had to call and ambulance and firetruck and everything. She finally got out yesterday but still isn't anywhere near to normal. She had something called pericarditis. Its where the sack around the heart swells up with fluid and it becomes hard for the heart to pump and to breathe and its extremely painful. We thought she wasn't going to make it, but thankfully she's pulled through.

Wednesday, May 25th

Summer plans


This summer I'm going to get to go to England, Scotland and Ireland. I'm really excited! I'll be gone for over a month, so it'll be a long trip. Plus I'll be able to see all the things I didn't get to see the last time I went to England. In particular I'm looking forward to seeing Stonehenge, Dover, and Bath. Especially Stonehenge. I know, I know, its a pile of rocks in a field but I've always wanted to see it.

I'm also excited because I'll be going to Scotland and Ireland and I haven't been to either place before. Edinburgh looks like its going to be a lot of fun. Its really pretty looking in all the pictures. Oooo and I'll be able to visit St. Andrews school too. Thats a really nice school, I wish I could go there. I looked into going there once, but things just weren't going to work.

When I get back I'll try and post some pictures, but I doubt what I can. I don't even have a camera to take yet and I have no money to get one either. We'll see.

I leave in early July and get back mid August. If I get an itenerary, I'll post it.

Well, I can't figure out how to change the look of my entries. It used to be so easy to do and now there's a ton of code junk I can't figure out. Ugh!
